Questions

The answers are on the page too.

Everything you would otherwise have to ask a salesperson, written down and kept honest - including the questions where the answer is no.

Do I have to talk to anyone to get started?

No. You create the account yourself and land in your own workspace immediately. There is no form standing in front of the product, nothing to schedule, and nobody who has to approve you first.

Do you need a credit card?

No. Free is free: no card on file, no countdown running, and nothing that converts itself to a paid plan while you are not looking. When the paid plans open you will pick one deliberately.

What happens when I hit the free equipment limit?

The Free plan's ceilings - equipment records, clients, and active maintenance programs - are published on the pricing page, next to what Crew and Shop raise them to. Those two plans open for purchase when billing does.

Does Schedulance do invoicing, quotes, or payments?

No. Schedulance runs the service side: the equipment, the schedule, the work orders, and the parts. Invoicing, quotes and estimates, taking payment, GPS tracking, and a customer portal are all outside it. If you need those in the same system, this is the wrong tool - better you know that now than after you have loaded your fleet.

Does it track my customers' equipment, or only my own?

Your customers'. Every machine is recorded against a named client and one of that client's locations, so the service history, the maintenance program, and the parts consumed all attach to your customer's asset rather than to a fleet you own.

Can I sell and track maintenance contracts through it?

Yes. A client subscription covers a set of that client's equipment and fans coverage out across it, with a per-machine exclusion for the unit that is not on the plan. Each machine shows the coverage it inherits. This is your contract with your customer, and it has nothing to do with what you pay us.

Can I import an existing equipment list?

Not yet. There is no file upload, so a list you already keep somewhere else is manual entry today. What is here instead: published industry equipment packs, so the manufacturer and model catalog underneath your machines is not something you type from scratch.

How do I get my data out?

Every list in the product carries a download button - CSV or JSON, on the spot. It is not held back for a paid plan: the programmatic API is a Shop feature, the download is not.

Who can see my data?

Only your workspace. Every table is scoped to your team by the database itself rather than by application code, so a query reaching across workspaces comes back empty. There is no code path that can be talked into skipping the check.

What does it cost as we grow?

Pricing is per workspace, not per seat, so hiring does not move the bill. What moves you up a plan is the size of the fleet you service. All three plans, their ceilings, and both billing periods are on the pricing page.
